The artist studios of the Renaissance did not exist within a vacuum. The lives and imaginations of the artists and faithful were formed by opportunities to encounter all areas of human creativity. Thus, our attention to knowing the faith needs to be joined with our attention to living the faith in every facet, including cultural opportunities.
